America is known for a few things, BBQ Ribs is for sure one of them, go anywhere on a sunny day and the smell of BBQ will be in the air. This rub has been created using full bodied flavoured spices and herbs with No Salt, Sugar or Chilli.
How to Use: Coat each rib/rack of ribs with vegetable oil and rub in the seasoning, marinate for 2-24hours in the fridge, place on a baking tray and cover with foil. Cook for 2.5-4 hrs on Gas Mark 3, 160C/320F with the last 30 mins without the foil (length of time depends on how thick the meat is - when the meat starts to fall away from the bone is perfect timing)
After you have rubbed in the rib seasoning you can brush with honey for a sweeter sticky rib and add more during the cooking process if required

Interesting
On its own on ribs it left them a little dry so I need to get the hang of this one. However what it did provide was a great flavour. Next time a will add some honey, try to make a paste of it and cook it lower and longer.
