A&W Root Beer
As I understand it, root beer is NOT beloved in Europe. That's fine. You don't have to love it, but when I say I couldn't hit "add to cart" fast enough I'm not being dramatic. You may not think A&W is the best root beer out there, but it is a classic flavor that hits all the nostalgia buttons. As a beverage, an ice cream float base, a syrup to add to buttercream frosting, a background flavor for countless pork dishes, or frozen into a popsicle, root beer is one of those things that is versatile in a way that seems ridiculous to those outside of it's sphere of influence. And, while making your own is an option (so long as you can get a good supplier for the base), being able to find it easily feels like an early Christmas gift.
